This is so TRUE!!
people all want a pill shot to FIX whatever ailment

The time it takes to advice and counsel it much more than a Pill and a Pill is easy.
compared to change....

I am disappointed to say that I have had mental health providers tell me that any treatments like counseling, group therapy, are a waste of time, medication should be all they offer. They went on to explain that all people do during therapy is complain about their lives, and waste $$ that could go towards more medication. This person is defeatist and in my opinion works in the wrong field. People are capable and willing to change, and make these brave decisions and actions every hour of the day. Every tool to treat all the forms of mental illness must be provided and employed to give every person the best chances for recovery. Medication, therapy, counseling, CBT, EFT, if you are willing to do the work there is more than medication to treat mental illnesses. Defeatists need not apply.
